New Issue of WITNESS Published05 Dec

Fall Issue 2011

The Fall 2011 issue of WITNESS is now available online. In addition to the article about “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship,” there are articles by Ms. Leisa Schulz, Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of Louisville, about handing on our Faith as catechists and by Deacon Frank Villalobos who reports on an annual cultural event celebrating the heritage of the Hispanic community. Fr. Ron Ketteler authored a timely column regarding democratic freedom and natural law.

We are happy to announce that Catholic Charities USA President, Fr. Larry Snyder, will deliver the keynote address at the 2012 gathering of Catholics @ the Capitol. There is deep concern about the high level of poverty in this nation and CCUSA is in the forefront of challenging us to find ways to reduce the number of families and individuals crushed by this condition.

This year’s gathering takes place Feb. 6th and 7th at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Frankfort. Online registration is open now for your convenience. Click here to register for Catholics @ the Capitol 2012.
