Governor Beshear Signs HB 269

On April 8, 2022, Governor Andy Beshear signed HB 269 into law.  The legislation would eliminate the death penalty for individuals diagnosed with a severe mental illness.  We appreciate Governor Beshear's support and are grateful for the large bipartisan majority in the Kentucky General Assembly that sent this legislation to his desk.
